It’s a girl!

Chris and Ashlee Williams of Hardin will be welcoming a daughter this fall. The baby’s gender was revealed at a family event on June 15 in Moss Hill.

To celebrate the occasion, family members wore pink or blue clothing to signify their hopes for the baby’s gender. The party’s theme was Baseball or Bows with father Chris breaking open a color-filled baseball thrown by his wife, Ashlee.

When pink dust filled the air, shrieks of surprise could be heard from all the family members who were gathered. None was more surprised than Ashlee who has already delivered two sons, Garrett and Cole, and is mother to her husband’s daughter from a first marriage.

“I just knew it was a boy,” she said.

After the reveal, family members handed out gifts to the couple, including a Houston Astros onesie, a tribute to Chris’ love for the Houston team.

The Williams have picked out the name of Everlee Micaela Williams for their daughter once she arrives.

The child is the granddaughter of Jerry and Lauri Williams of Liberty, and Angela Sumrall of Moss Hill.
