Joyce Marie Johnston Myrick

Joyce Marie Johnston Myrick, age 72 of Cleveland, passed away June 27, 2018 in Conroe, TX. Joyce was born December 18, 1945 in Liberty, TX daughter of the late Alton Lloyd Johnston and Elsie Mae Dobbs Johnston. She graduated from Cleveland High School and was a correctional officer for twelve years for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. In her spare time, Joyce loved to fish and quilt. She loved her family and especially loved her grandchildren. She will be missed by all.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Jimmy Myrick, sisters; Joann Butcher, Inez Ray, brothers; Leon Johnston and LeRoy Johnston. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughter; Tina O’Quinn and husband Ray of Cleveland, son; Glenn Myrick and wife Renee of Magnolia, TX, sisters; Shirley Trasher and husband Kevin of Cleveland, Ruby Wells and husband Royce of Shepherd, Francis Johnston of Cleveland, brothers; Raymond Johnston, Billy Joe Johnston, grandchildren; Paige, Kyle, Lynndsey, Ryan, Taylor, Matthew, Cortney, great-grandchildren; Kynnle, Landon and Elli.
