Buchanan named CISD teacher of the week

Brandon Buchanan is the Cleveland ISD teacher of the week for the week ending Sept. 14, 2018. Buchanan is an eighth-grade science and pre-AP science teacher at Cleveland Middle School.

This is Buchanan’s 23rd year in education and his first at Cleveland ISD.

“We are super excited about having him join our CISD Indian Family at Cleveland Middle School,” said CISD Communications Director Susan Ard.

The teacher of the year award is sponsored by KORG Radio and Station Manager Jeff McClain, Anderson Ford, Quick Lane, Chef’s House and El Burrito.

Before creating Bluebonnet News in 2018, Vanesa Brashier was a community editor for the Houston Chronicle/Houston Community Newspapers.
