Jeri Lynn Murphy

Jeri Lynn Murphy, 59, of Saratoga died on Wednesday, September 12, 2018, in Livingston, TX. She was born June 28, 1959, in Thibedeaux, LA, to Marie Coleman Henry and the late Justin Henry Sr. A longtime resident of the Saratoga – Batson area, Jeri resided in Livingston the last two years.
For many years, Jeri worked in the Deli for Brookshire Brothers. She loved her family and friends and was most proud of her grandchildren and
adored them, her dogs were loved by her as well.

Jeri is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Darrell Murphy; father, Justin Henry Sr.; brothers, Ronald Wayne Henry and Justin Henry Jr.

Those left to cherish her memory are sons, D.J. Hall and wife Barbara of Fred; Dustin Hall and wife Tiffany of Livingston; step-sons, Robert Murphy and wife Shawndra of Batson; John Murphy and wife Amanda of Strasburg, VA; brothers, Carl Dewayne Henry of Sour Lake, James Paul Henry of Beaumont; grandchildren, Cheyenne Hall, Allison Lytle, Daren Hall, Audrey Hall, Michael Murphy, Brady Murphy, Abigail Murphy, Tobbie Murphy, Jillian Murphy, Clara Murphy, and a host of loving family and friends.

A service of remembrance will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at Faith and Family Funeral Services, Inc. with Brothers Brad Forrest and Reverend D.J. Hall officiating. Interment will follow at Felps Cemetery in Thicket. A gathering of Jeri’s family and friends will be Friday, September 14, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Faith and Family Funeral Services, Inc.

Honoring Jeri as pallbearers are: Carl J. Henry, Ray Fowler, Charlie Murphy, Travis Griffin, Zac Henry, and Rusty Hendrix. Honorary pallbearers will be Dewayne Collier and Tommy Griffin.
