Michael Joseph Scofelia

Michael Joseph Scofelia, 66, of Hull, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, September 14, 2018, at Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas. He was born July 25, 1952, in Liberty, TX to Joseph and Patsy Miller Scofelia and worked for Preferred Technology as a Pipefitter. In his spare time, he loved to hunt, fish, and loved cars.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and uncle, Carroll Scofelia.

Those left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 43 years, Mary Scofelia of Hull; son, Micah Dominic Scofelia and wife Veronica of Corpus Christi, TX; sisters, Micki K Loar and husband Chris of Vidor, and Jennifer Myers and husband Steven of Galveston; grandchildren, Ali and Dominic, and a host of loving friends and family.

A service of remembrance will be Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at Faith & Family Funeral Services, Inc. with Pastor Terry Wright officiating. Interment will follow at Guedry Cemetery in Batson.

A gathering of Michael’s family and friends will be Monday, September 17, 2018, at Faith & Family Funeral Services, Inc. from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Honoring Michael as pallbearers are Steven Loar, Glen Wright, Nelson Taylor, Chris Condrey, Chris Loar, and Kyle Payne.
