Teachers in the area are proving they are willing to go the extra mile for their students by accepting the Ride the Bus challenge, a social media campaign initiated by Keith Peters of Fort Lauderville, Fla.
By riding the bus, teachers are strengthening their bonds with students, showing leadership skills, and providing another set of eyes and ears on the buses, thereby improving student safety.
Two Tarkington third-grade teachers – Marilyn Paige and Cindy Grudzinski – accepted the “Ride the Bus” challenge this week.
