Frances Lucille Fingleman Carlisle

Frances Lucille Fingleman Carlisle, 85, of Dayton passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018 in Liberty, Texas. She was born January 9, 1933 in Dayton, Texas to parents August B. Fingleman and Ollie Ann Lloyd Fingleman.

Graveside service for Mrs. Carlisle will be 2:30 p.m., Monday, September 24, 2018 at Magnolia Park Cemetery in Dayton. The family will receive friends 12 noon until 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 24, 2018 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers will be Scott Carlisle, Chris Carlisle, Micah Carlisle, Jason Carlisle, Fred Majors, Clinton Majors and Steven Kovalcik.

Frances was a longtime resident of Baytown before returning to live in Dayton. She attended Dayton schools and Lee College. She loved gardening, was a master gardener and a member of the Dayton Garden Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and three brothers. Frances is survived by her husband of 65 years, Herbert “Hub” Carlisle of Dayton; sons, Boyce V. Carlisle and wife Marilyn of Baytown and Aaron L. Carlisle of Dayton; five grandchildren, Aaron Scott, Christopher, Micah and Jason Carlisle and Jennifer Kovalcik; twelve great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
