Agnus “Aggie” Erdean Zilch

Agnus “Aggie” Erdean Zilch, 92, of Anahuac, Texas, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, September 23, 2018. She was born on March 14, 1926 in a small town near Russellville, Kentucky to the late James and Daisy Orange and was the tenth of eleven children. In her younger years, Agnus was home-schooled. Later she received her LVN from Lee College in Baytown. Agnus worked for 15 years as an LVN at Bayside Community Hospital in Anahuac.

Agnus was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading and quilting. She was very talented and gifted in making many unique and fun quilts for her family and friends.

Agnus was preceded in death by her parents; her ten siblings; and her husband Robert Zilch. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her sons Jack Dongelewic, Harry Elright, III, Bill Stults, Bob Stults and Dean Stults; her many grandchildren; her several great-grandchildren; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Honoring the family by serving as pallbearers will be her grandchildren.

Friends are invited to visit with the family beginning at 10am on Friday, September 28, 2018 in the chapel of Sterling Funeral Home, 1201 S. Main Street in Anahuac. Funeral services to follow the visitation at 11am. A graveside service and committal will immediately follow in Anahuac Cemetery.
