Babin visits CHS bistro restaurant

U.S. Congressman Brian Babin talks to Cleveland High School culinary arts students during a recent visit.

U.S. Rep. Brian Babin (TX-36) recently visited Cleveland High School and its Culinary Arts Bistro. Babin spoke to our some of the students and guests that day.

His visit followed an invitation extended to him this past summer when Cleveland High School SkillsUSA students met him in Washington, D.C. He told them then he would stop by and visit.

The Bistro is open to the community on Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The website is https://clevelandculinaryarts.weebly.com/

The menu changes weekly, typically to a different region or cuisine. Students right now are working to update their calendar with the meals for first semester. The official first opening is on Thursday, Oct. 25.

All guests must check into the front desk and make a reservation in advance on the website.
