Mamie Lewis

Mamie Lewis, age 92 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Friday, November 23, 2018. She was born March 29, 1926 in Evergreen Community, Texas to parents Jim and Nettie Moody who preceded her in death along with her husband, Herman Lewis; and sisters, Amy Smith and M.T. Thomas.

Survivors include her daughters, Evelyn Brown, and Sadie R. Black and husband Jerry; son, Orval W. Lewis and wife Diana; grandchildren, Waynette Hardy, Karan Blackburn, Keith Black, Jerry Black, Jr., Helisha Brock, Mark Lewis, RoseMarie Trauscke and AnnMarie Sandlin; niece, Carolyn Roe; nephews, Jim Smith, Darren Smith, Dickie Leggett, and James Lewis; numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Magnolia Baptist Church, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Magnolia Baptist Church, Cleveland, Texas officiated by Bro. Darren Smith. Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas.
