Douglas Eugene Flowers

Douglas Eugene Flowers, age 71 of Shepherd, Texas, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2018. He was born December 16, 1946 in Harris County, Texas to parents J.B. Flowers and Stella Mae McAdams Flowers who preceded him in death along with his wife, Vera Mae Flowers; sister, Georgie Ruth Aldrich; and brother, Jerry Don Flowers

Survivors include his son, Douglas Flowers, Jr.; daughters, Selina Flowers and husband Brian Beals, and Connie Torres and husband Joel; grandchildren, Brandon Runyon and wife Rebecca, Kyle Torres, and Casey Torres; great-grandchildren, Everly Runyon, and Kayson Torres; long-time companion, Annette Calcote; numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Monday, December 3, 2018 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas officiated by Bro. Carl Williamson. Interment will follow at Farley Chapel Cemetery, Shepherd, Texas.
