Aletha Yvett Perew

Aletha Yvett Perew, 57, of Saratoga, Texas passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2018, at CHRISTUS St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
Aletha was born December 16, 1960, to Thomas A. Perew and Cathlue Davis in Beaumont, TX. For several years Aletha was a security guard for Chevron Phillips. Last few years she was a devoted member of New Life Church in Batson. Aletha completed and was a graduate of the New Life Addiction Program. She was very active at New Life Church serving as a Woman’s Challenge Leader, working the food bank, sewing and whatever needed to be done to serve her community. She loved serving people and enjoyed life. In her spear time, she enjoyed the outdoors. Aletha was also known to be a good cook. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
Aletha is preceded in death by her father, Thomas A. Perew.
Those left to cherish her memory is her mother, Cathlue Perew of Kountze; brother, James Ray Perew of Saratoga; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and her church family.
A service of remembrance will be held on Sunday, December 9, 2018, at 3:00 P.M.at New Life Church 42493 TX-105, Batson, TX. 77519 with Brother Bill Campbell officiating. Interment Rosedale cemetery, Sour Lake.
A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday at New Life Church from 1:00 P.M until 3:00 PM.
Honoring Aletha as pallbearers are Jack Duke, Reggie Cone, T W Durham, Sherman Lewis, Bill Campman, Ben Campbell, and Scott Walters.
