Jerry Robin Slankard

Jerry Robin Slankard, 63, of Batson, passed away on Thursday December 6, 2018, at Kingwood Medical Center.

A service of remembrance will held on Monday December 10, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church of Batson, with Reverend Jeff Blizzard officiating. Interment will follow at Guedry cemetery in Batson. The family will be receiving friends also on Monday December 10, 2018 from 12:00 P.M. until time of service at the church.

He was born in Liberty and lived in Batson, and was a retired State Investigator with The Texas Railroad Commission. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ewell Loyd Slankard and Geraldine Majors; brother, Ewell Wayne Slankard; grandparents, Charles and Maude Slankard and Jesse and B.B. Majors.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years Margie Slankard of Batson. Sons, Brandon Slankard and wife Kristin of Silsbee, Jason Slankard and wife Tiffany of Batson, Justin Slankard and wife Fatima of Houston. Daughters, Heather Williams and husband Darris of Thicket, and Emily Burnett and husband Hunter of Dayton. Brother, Ronnie Webb of Glen Rose, TX; and sister, Judy Ferrino of League City. Grandchildren, Kayla, Jaycie, Maygan, Colten, Cadence, Luke, Aisley, Mikaela, Jude, Jase, and Kalyx. Great grandchildren 3.
