Douglass Learning Academy in Cleveland graduates 14 students

The new graduates for Douglass Learning Academy are Raiden M. Boney, Brittany R. Burgess, Fernanda M. Contreras, Cristina G. Contreras Espino, Johnny A. Garcia, Jr., Chance A. Griffin, April H. Medrano, Alejandro Martinez, Luz G. Martinez-Madrigal, Daniela Rodriguez, Alexis M. Snider, Sarahi B. Torres, Maricela D. Vargas and James A. Whitaker.

A group of Douglass Learning Academy had more than Christmas to celebrate this December. They successfully completed the requirements needed to graduate high school and were treated to a graduation ceremony held at the Cleveland Civic Center.

Douglass Learning Academy is an alternative campus through Cleveland ISD where 9-12-grade students can pursue their education apart from the setting of a traditional high school. Fourteen graduates were recognized at the December graduation ceremony.
