Richard Mark Brooks

Richard Mark Brooks, 61, of Livingston died Tuesday, January 15, 2019 in the Woodlands, Texas. He was born September 14, 1957 in Houston, Texas to parents, Arthur Henry Brooks and Marie Elizabeth Cantrell.

Services for Mr. Brooks will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 21, 2019 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael McIlwain officiating. The family will receive friends 12 noon until service time at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. Interment will follow at Magnolia Park Cemetery in Dayton.

Richard had lived in Livingston for the past 12 years after moving from Florida. He worked as a carpet installer for many years. Richard was a Nascar fan and enjoyed Classic automobiles.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings, Charlotte Ann Brooks, Harold Lee Brooks, Floyd Cecil Brooks, Geneva Odom and Wayne Brooks. Richard is survived by his grandparents, Margorie and Charlie Sackett; sons, Spencer Brooks and Nicholas Brooks; four grandchildren; sisters, Linda Marie Brooks Sackett and husband Charles and Minnie Irene Brooks, Sharon Brooks; six aunts and uncles, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
