Hollis “Jr” Wesley Tumlinson


Hollis “Jr” Wesley Tumlinson, 85, of Coldspring, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2019.  He was born on Thursday, May 25, 1933, in San Antonio, Texas to Hollis Wesley Tumlinson, Sr. and Evelyn (Hoist) Tumlinson, both of whom have preceded him in death.  Jr was also preceded in death by his sons Gary Wayne Tumlinson, and Brandon Lee Tumlinson; brothers, Bobby Tumlinson, Harry Tumlinson; sisters, Shirley Tumlinson,  Jean Watts.  Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 45 years, Donna Tumlinson; children, Brenda Hale, Ronnie Tumlinson and wife Shelly, Brian Tumlinson, Rachel Bennett and husband Larry, Stephanie Tumlinson; brothers, Richard Tumlinson and wife Diane, Lonnie Tumlinson; sisters, Della Moseley, Debbie Sandig; 14 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren; along with numerous other loving family and treasured friends.  Jr was a proud USMC Veteran. He built many homes in the area and loved to build cabinets. Jr was loved by all who knew and loved him.  Visitation for Jr will be held at Neal Funeral Home on February 23, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  Funeral Services for Jr will commence at 12:00 pm.  Interment for Jr will immediately follow at Montaque Cemetery. 

All services were handled under the trusted care of Neal Funeral Home.
