Scott Earl Wallace, Jr.

Scott Earl Wallace, Jr., 79, of Dayton passed away February 24, 2019 in Baytown, Texas. He was born January 11, 1940 in Santa Anna, Texas to parents Scott Earl Wallace, Sr. and Mary Hoopes Wallace.

Service for Mr. Wallace will be Friday, March 1, 2019 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jeff Hiett officiating. Interment will follow at Magnolia Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday evening at Pace-Stancil.

Serving as pallbearers will be Joe Pruitt, Darren Pruitt, Cameron Boyd, Austin Whisman, Brian Sigle, Chad Ferguson, Donnie Fox and Richey Staley

Scott had lived in Dayton for the past 34 years. He retired from Brown & Root – Halliburton after many years of faithful service. He had been an active member of the Masonic Lodge – Grand Lodge of Mississippi since 1982. Scott enjoyed fishing and hunting in his free time. After he retired, he spent his time with his family and neighbors. He was always driving around to check on his daughters and all his grandchildren.

Mr. Wallace was preceded in death by his parents, wife Patsy Hodges Wallace and sister Barbara Fox. He is survived by his wife of six years, Lyubov Wallace; daughters and their spouses, Rhonda Campbell and Dale; Amber Boyd and Johnny Reed, Becky Johnson and Will; grandchildren and their spouses, Lindsay Campbell and Bradley Crocker, Cameron Boyd and Heather Broyles, Tara Johnson and Bryon Lewis, Shelby Whisman and Austin, Heidi Johnson, and Morgan Johnson; ten great-grandchildren; sisters, Susanne Young; Margaret Staley and Rick, Janenne Gracey and Mark; sisters-in-law, Peggy Pruitt and Tommy and Barbara Davenport and Chester; brother-in-law, Don Fox; also numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
