Elmer V. Peckinpaugh

Elmer V. Peckinpaugh better known as ‘Blue’ passed away, March 19, 2019 at his residence in Liberty, Texas. He was born on August 27, 1942 to Luther ‘Staight Stick’ Peckinpaugh and Clara Sutton Peckinpaugh.

Blue was a talented machinist. He took great pride in his job and you could always count on him to get it done right. Blue was an active member of the Nolan D. Pickett VFW Post 5621, Dayton American Legion Post 512, Ellks Lodge 2019 and Liberty Patriot Guard. He was also a member on the Sliver Fox cooking team. Blue was a strong, independent outgoing man, He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and being with friends. He also enjoyed a good whiskey. Wild Turkey was his favorite. Blue was fun to be around. He cared about people. It’s for this and so many more reasons that he will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him,

Blue was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves behind to cherish his memory daughter Keri and Charlie Locke; son Charles and wife Teresa of Cleveland; son Kenneth Peckinpaugh of Katy; son James Peckinpaugh of Katy; granddaughter Brooklynne Locke; granddaughter Makenzie Locke; grandson Dylan Kristoff; grandson Christopher, Jr.; granddaughter Vanessa Olecki; grandson Colin Olecki; grandson JJ Childs; granddaughter Emily Childs; grandson Charles Brock; granddaughter Karly Brock; granddaughter Brittany Higgins and husband Brandon; grandson Josh Blakley and wife Erin; daughter Crystal Tillman, daughter Robbin Childs, grandson Dakota Thornton and wife Vera, great-grandchildren Gavin and Keely and a host of other loving family members and friends.

Final arrangements have been entrusted to Allison Funeral Services.
