Marion Mouzon May

Marion Mouzon May, our beloved husband and father, passed away on March 25, 2019, at his residence in Cleveland, with his family by his side. He was 81. A native of LaPorte, he had lived in Cleveland, 25, years and was a Marketing Manager for Southern California Gas Company. Marion had faithfully served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps.

He is survived by his loving wife Barbara May of Cleveland; son Ricky May of Cleveland; daughters Rebecca Jordan and husband Jerry of Batson, Rhonda Myers and husband Edward of Liberty. Brothers, Brooks May of New Waverly, Bobby May of Huffman; sisters Beth Scroggins of Cleveland, Jean Martin of Pasadena. Grandchildren are Heather, Ricky May, Melissa May, Robert McGowan, Michael McGowan, Jeremiah Carlson, Kristy West, Jacob Myers, Jessica West., and great-grandchildren 26.

There will be a memorial service held on Friday, March 29, 2019, at 4:00 P.M. at the Chapel of Faith & Family Funeral Services Inc. with Reverend Woody Sonnier officiating. The family will be receiving guest also on Friday March 29, 2019 starting at 3:00 P.M.

Before creating Bluebonnet News in 2018, Vanesa Brashier was a community editor for the Houston Chronicle/Houston Community Newspapers.
