Shawn Soileau

Shawn Soileau, 64. Our beloved Husband and Father passed away on Thursday, April 4,2019, at his residence in Honey Island, surrounded by his loving wife and family.

A service of remembrance will be held on Sunday April, 7, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. at Faith & Family Chapel. Interment will follow at William-Hart Cemetery in Kountze. The family will be receiving friends also on Sunday, April 7, 2019, starting at 10:00 A.M. at Faith Family.

Serving as pallbearers are Stephen Fregia, Donnie Fregia, Jerry Fregia, Keith Poland, Ben Harris, Aaron Elsea.

Shawn was born June 26, 1954, in Freeport, TX to John Anthony Soileau and Bobbie Nell Chaney. He had lived in Honey Island and had worked for R.C.I. Construction Company in Beaumont as a carpenter. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Gary Soilea.

Survivors are his wife Sheila Soileau of Kountze; son Anthony Soileau of Kountze, daughters Andrea Soileau of Kountze, Mickie Soileau of Kountze, Shawna Soileau and Donnie Clifton of Kountze. Step-daughters Jennifer Hicks and husband Rickey of Port Neches, Celenda Peppenhorst of Kountze. Brothers, Mike Soileau and wife Rhonda of Atlanta TX, Todd Soileau and wife Kristy of Kountze, and sister, Shirley Weyler of Kountze.

Grandchildren are Noah, Max, Lane, Dax, Cameron, Priscilla, Briar, Lucas, Kyler, and Colton.
