Cleveland, Dayton, H-D, Liberty ISDs offering summer food programs

This summer, kids eat free as part of the summer meals programs offered by area school districts in Liberty County. Through June 28, free breakfast and lunch meals will be offered to anyone 18 years of age or younger at select campuses in Dayton, Cleveland and Tarkington. Liberty ISD’s program is extended through July 25. Hull-Daisetta ISD’s program is offered through July 5. No meals will be served on the Fourth of July holiday.

The addresses for the sites are listed below, along with meal times:

CLEVELAND ISD

  • Eastside Elementary, 1602 Shell Ave. – breakfast: 7 to 8 a.m., and lunch: 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
  • Cleveland Middle School, 2000 E. Houston St. – breakfast: 7 to 8 a.m., and lunch: 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
  • Samuel Wiley Park, 1030 Green St. – breakfast: 8 to 9 a.m., and lunch: 11 a.m. to noon
  • Tarkington ISD Intermediate Campus, 2770 FM 163 – breakfast: 8 to 8:30 a.m., and lunch: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Montebello Park, 3399 CR 3479B – lunch: 11 a.m. to noon (no breakfast service offered at this location)

DAYTON ISD

  • Kimmie M. Brown Elementary, 151 Brown Rd. – breakfast: 7:15 to 8:15 a.m., and lunch: 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
  • Woodrow Wilson Junior High, 309 S. Hwy. 146 – breakfast: 7:15 to 8:15 a.m., and lunch: 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
  • Dayton High School, 3200 N. Cleveland – breakfast: 7:15 to 8:15 a.m.

HULL-DAISETTA

  • Hull-Daisetta High School, 117 N. Main (Hwy. 770) – breakfast: 7:30 to 8 a.m., and lunch: 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

LIBERTY ISD

  • Liberty Middle School, 2515 Jefferson Dr. – breakfast: 7:30 to 8:30 a.m., and lunch: 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Students from neighboring school districts, like Hardin ISD, that aren’t offering the summer meal program can participate at any district where the program is being offered. All meals must be eaten on site.
