Gay Nell Walker

Gay Nell Walker was born November 17, 1937 in Newton, Texas to parents, Bill Inman and Silvia Smith Inman. She went to her Heavenly Home on October 18, 2023 in Kingwood, Texas at the age of 85.

Gay Nell loved the Lord and was the organist at Central Baptist Church for 15 years. She has lived around the Cleveland area for 68 years. Gay Nell loved raising her four sons and was an excellent homemaker. She will be greatly missed by everyone that knew and loved her. Gay Nell was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Silvia Inman; sons, Thomas Walker and Kenny Walker.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Billy Gene Walker; sons, David Walker and wife Peggy, Charles Walker and wife Laura; daughters in law, Shawna Walker and Cindy Walker; brother, Bill Albert Inman; sister, Judith Inman Martin; 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Graveside Service is scheduled for Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at 11am in the Boothe Cemetery with Bro. Carl Williamson officiating.

Before creating Bluebonnet News in 2018, Vanesa Brashier was a community editor for the Houston Chronicle/Houston Community Newspapers.
