Bertha Lou LeBlanc

Bertha Lou LeBlanc, 76, of Anahuac, Texas, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2019, at her home by the bay. She was born on April 24, 1943, in Jennings, Louisiana to Morris and Aline M. Romero Crader.

Bertha was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend to many. She was a nurturer by nature, someone who loved children, even providing childcare services over the years to many. Bertha also liked crocheting and sewing although she had not done much of either in recent years. Although she did not have much of a green thumb, Bertha enjoyed flower gardening. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Bertha was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother Morris “Buddy” Crader, Jr. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 57 years, Irvin LeBlanc; her children Debby Griffin of Anahuac and Terry LeBlanc of Anahuac; her grandchildren Thomas Charles Griffin and William Joseph Griffin; her great-granddaughter Adelaine Griffin; her sister-in-law Mary Crader of Louisiana; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Friends are invited to visit with the family beginning at 1pm on Friday, July 5, 2019, in the chapel of Sterling Funeral Home, 1201 S. Main Street in Anahuac. A celebration of Bertha’s life will follow at 2pm, with Fr Stephen McCrate as the Celebrant.
