James Timothy “Texas Tim” Grimet Sr. was born in Houston, Texas on November 2, 1962 and passed away in Houston, Texas on July 1, 2019 at the age of 56. Tim graduated from North Shore High School, he loved the outdoors, fishing and enjoyed watching sports, especially baseball. In his younger years he worked in the construction industry and also in the off shore industry. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard Clyde Grimet and Georgie Neal Farr Grimet; three half- brothers, Robert Simons, Roger Simons and John Simons. Tim is survived by his children: James Timothy Grimet Jr., Cody Lee Grimet, Casey Brent Grimet and wife Christal Michelle Grimet, and Shelby June Renee Grimet; brothers: Roy Grimet and wife Leslie Grimet, Chris Grimet, Barney Grimet and wife Missy Grimet, and Kenneth Wayne Grimet and wife MeChelle Grimet; sister, Cindy Kellerbrew and husband Ronnie Kellerbrew; grandchildren: Braiden Matthew Grimet, Madison Leeann Grimet, Addyson Lee Grimet, Kreedence Faith Grimet, Kaysen Verdell Grimet, Kaidence Leeann Grimet and Rylan Xzavier Grimet. Memorial Service is scheduled for Monday, July 8, 2019 in the Neal Funeral Home Chapel at 3pm.
