Mary Jeane Strickland McFarland

Mary Jeane Strickland McFarland, 76, of Dayton passed away July 11, 2019 in Liberty, Texas. She was born October 29, 1942 in Tyler, Texas to parents Loyd Burl Strickland and Joyce Ann Parsons Strickland.

A visitation for Mrs. McFarland will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.

Mrs. McFarland had been a longtime resident of Tyler before moving to Dayton nineteen years ago. She was very loving and compassionate, always thinking of others. Mary Jeane loved her family and always put them first. She loved dogs, tweety bird, and working in the yard. She enjoyed her evening walks and watching the sun go down.

Mary Jeane was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Burl and Blain Strickland and her husband Jim McFarland. She is survived by her sons, Loyd and wife Tonie, James, Patrick and wife Melissa; grandchildren, Adria, Autumn, Audra, Ace, Sydney, Cyeriah, and Savannah; great-grandchild, Kara Williams; niece, Jane Porter; nephew, Jason Strickland; other relatives and friends.
