Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies raid New Caney paint and body shop, arrest owner

The owner of a New Caney-based paint and body shop was arrested Wednesday, July 24, during a raid by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

Richard Sisney Jr., owner of Eagle Tune and Lube and Eagle Custom Paint and Body Shop, located on FM 1485 in New Caney, is charged with felony theft. The investigation into Sisney’s business began after allegations of theft were made in January 2018.

According to a statement from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, “Mr. Sisney Jr. promised clients an agreed upon level of work to be completed on their vehicles, but after significant time had passed, the work had not been completed after the payment had already been collected.”

Authorities say Sisney used sub-par or wrong auto parts on clients’ vehicles and attempted to defraud them.
