James Emile Charland

James Emile Charland, age 71 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2019. He was born March 10, 1948 in Waterville, Maine to parents Emile and Faylene Charland who preceded him in death.

James proudly served his country in the US Airforce where he found his passion working on aircrafts. Aside from his work he loved to travel, cook, eat, and experiment with different cuisines. Mr. Charland also, in his spare time, enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles. James had an incredible sense of humor and loved visiting his favorite gas station Buc-ee’s all over the state of Texas.

Survivors include his wife of 13 years, Rowena Charland; brothers, David Charland and wife Sally, Richard Charland and wife Nancy, Danny Charland and wife Cindy; sisters, Nancy Charland and Donna Charland; nephews, Michael Charland and wife Tiffany, Bryan Charland, Paul Charland and wife Mellissa, Nate Charland and wife Nerissa; nieces, Rebecca Charland, Jennifer Charland, Ashley DeBellis and husband Jeffrey; dogs, Bigun and Brady; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 2, 2019 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Services will follow at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 2, 2019 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to http://www.healthwellfoundation.org
