Jonathan Elias Salcido

Jonathan Elias Salcido was born January 26, 1999 in Jacksonville, North Carolina. He was taken from this world way too soon on Sunday, August 11, 2019 at the age of 20. He had a passion for sports, excelling in football and track and field. Jonathan graduated from Shepherd High School and was a man of high morals and was looked up to by many. His friends and his family could always count on him if ever they were in need. Jonathan is survived by his loving parents, John Salcido and Yolanda Garcia; grandparents, Carmen Klatt and Elvia and Juan Salcido; brothers, Reuben Salcido and Gilbert Garcia; sister, Mariah Garcia; niece; Lydia Grace Salcido; aunts, Melitza Burgos, Evonne Burgos, Paloma Lambert, Priscilla Salcido, Denise Salcido and Christina Salcido; uncle, Pedro Guerra; and numerous other relatives and friends. Visitation will be at Neal Funeral Home on Friday, August 26, 2019 from 5-8pm. The Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 10:30am in the Neal Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ronald Ellisor officiating. Burial will follow in the Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens. Pallbearers for the service will be: Gilbert Garcia, Andres Flores, Jaime Morales, Pedro Guerra, Stephen D’Giorgi, Desmond Hargrove, Robert Clark and Adolfo Guerra. Honorary Pallbearer will be Reuben Salcido.
