Alma Lucille Jackson

Alma Lucille Jackson, age 94 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2019. She was born September 19, 1924 in Buffalo, Texas to parents Will and Julia Merten who preceded her in death along with his husband, JC Jackson; brothers, Clarence Merten, Otto Lee Merten and Lawrence Merten, Sr.; and sister, Judy Mae Peters.

Survivors include her son, Jim Jackson and wife Karen; daughters, Carol Weed and Suzi Pringle; grandchildren, Stephen Lee Bufkin, Jr., Danny Bufkin, Jennifer Carol Cramer, Jacob Snowden, Jill Niles, Kevin Jackson, Laura Grazier and Sarah Jackson; along with twenty great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 23, 2019 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Coldspring, Texas. Services will follow at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 23, 2019 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Coldspring, Texas. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas.
