Georgia Estelle Behrns

Georgia Estelle Behrns, age 71 of Dayton, Texas, passed away Monday, September 23, 2019. She was born January 12, 1948 in Cleveland, Texas to parents William Marion Bunyard and Elcie Aline Cotton who preceded her in death along with her son, Paul Duke; brothers, Michael Bunyard and Carroll Bunyard.

Georgia was a dedicated nurse, and after numerous attempts at retiring she finally retired this year after 35 years of loving service. She loved to crochet in her spare time and enjoyed the companionship of her cat. Everyone around her knew she loved her family most of all.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Behrns; son, Michael Wayne Duke and wife Dawn; daughter, Crystal DuBose; step-daughter, Barbie Duman; brother, Frank Bunyard and wife Pat; sister, Deanie Murry; grandchildren, Antoinette Duke, Nicolette Duke, Elijah Johnson, Ben DuBose and Michael DuBose; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends; and cat, Cleo

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas.
