Dayton Lady Broncos sweep first round of district games

The Dayton Bronco Volleyball teams traveled to Cleveland to make up their final district match for the first round Saturday.

The Broncos once again swept the gym, winning all three matches.

The Freshman won 25-15, 25-18; the JV won 25-10, 25-15; and the varsity also won with scores of 25-9, 25-7, 25-20.

Leading the way for the Broncos was Skyler Wagner with 21 kills. Laila Beck had 12 kills and Christy Vaughn had seven kills.

Belinda Torres led the defense with 21 digs and 20 serve receptions and also led on the service line with 28 serves and four aces, which led to her serve scoring 26 points.

The Broncos travel Tuesday to Barbers Hill to begin the second round of district.
