Charles “Charlie” Douglas Lewis

Charles “Charlie” Douglas Lewis, 74, of Quitman, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2020. He was born on Wednesday, February 7, 1945 in Mexia, Texas. Charlie was also preceded in death by his parents, Archie Henry and Ellen (Speed) Lewis, brothers, Alvis “Bud” Lewis and Jessie Lewis, sister, Margie Lewis, and great-grandson, Dakota Holt.   Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Galia Lewis; sons, Christopher Douglas Lewis and wife Chelsea, and Perry Vincent Lewis; daughter, Bobbi Nicole Gerber and husband John, step-daughters, Sheila Weaver and husband Jim, Amy Rodriquez, Barbara Barrera; step-son, Randy Stubbefield and wife Sharon; grandchildren, Kara, Destiny, Paige, Cymon, and Chip; step-grandchildren, Dusty, Jeromy, Galia, Amanda, Luis, Michael, Melony, David, Sarah, Tyler, Sarina Michelle, Priscilla and Felica; along with numerous great-grandchildren, other loving family and treasured friends. Visitation for Charles will be held at Neal Funeral Home on January 15, 2020 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.  Funeral Services for Charlie will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at First Baptist Church of Camilla at 10:00 am.  Interment for Charles will follow at 2:00 pm, at Houston National Cemetery Pastor Mike Richard, officiating.
