Philip Baker

Philip Baker, 64, of Dayton, Texas, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 13, 2020, at his home. He was born on September 10, 1955, in Evergreen Park, Illinois to the late William Leonard and Dolores Elizabeth Philbin Baker. Heavy heart this morning.

Phil survived 2 horrific accidents in his life, one having 17 facial fractures and having to eat through a straw for 3 months and the other having lost his left leg, a complete amputation in a motorcycle accident 34 years ago. Never seen or known a man of such character and will to live as he did. 

Phil leaves behind 2 daughters, Christina & Rachel; and 3 sons, Phil Jr., Christopher, and Patrick. His wishes were to cremated and laid to rest amongst the family in Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery and Mausoleum in Chicago Ridge, Illinois. Phil’s relationship with Our God was a blessing and he will be dearly missed!
