Garth Blaine Woodfin

Garth Blaine Woodfin, 57, of Anahuac, Texas, passed away on February 1, 2024, in Anahuac. He was born in Athens, Alabama, on March 12, 1966, to the late Sandra Hastings. Garth pursued many interests, some of which included his love for fishing and being outdoors. He was a sweet and kind person, always looking for an opportunity to help others.

Garth was preceded in death by his parents; and his stepdaughter Candy Permenter. He leaves behind to cherish his loving memory his beloved wife of thirty-two years  Lois Woodfin of Anahuac; his stepdaughter Kimberly Faulks of Anahuac; his stepson George Chaline of Sonoma, California; his grandchildren Christina Percle and husband Jauko of Liberty, Rance Permenter of Louisiana, Kyle Permenter of Louisiana, Cody Atwood and wife Amberly of Katy, and Caleb Norsworthy and wife Stormie of Huntsville; his great-grandson Colton Percel of Liberty, his other eleven great-grandchildren; his sister Elka Woodfin; along with a host of other loving relatives and friends.

It was Garth’s wish to be cremated and to be remembered by all as the kind, loving and funny man that he was.
