Dawn Christine Lowe

Dawn Christine Lowe, 60, of Thicket, Texas, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024, at her residence. She was born in Geneva, Illinois on January 25, 1964, to the late Thomas Henry Bollweg and Janet Louise Molitor.

Dawn was a strong and caring woman that devoted her life to God and to her family. She was dedicated to her church, teaching Sunday school to the kids and was on the Board of Directors at Bethany World Ministries. She worked her lifetime in the medical field as a Registered Nurse caring for others while spending the last 30 years of her life working kidney dialysis.

She is preceded in death by her father, and daughter, Janet Lowe.

She is survived by her mother, Janet Mish; husband, Walter Lee Lowe of Thicket, Texas; son, Lucas Lowe of Thicket, Texas; sister, Julie Carlson and husband Paul of South Elgin, Illinois; and grandchildren, McKenna Grace Lowe, and Logan John Lowe.

Serving the family as pallbearers are Timmy Storey, Jeff Johnson, BJ Meche, Lucas Lowe, Josh Bowman, and Artie Hart.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2024, from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm at West End Baptist Church, Saratoga, Texas. Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 pm on Friday, February 16, 2024, officiated by Pastor Keith De La Moriniere at West End Baptist Church, Saratoga, Texas. Interment to follow at Felps Cemetery, Thicket, Texas.
