Dani Barnes

Dani Barnes (Dana), aged 41, passed away on February 1, 2024, due to a sudden brain aneurysm. She is survived by her beloved daughter Rayeanna Nicole Barnes, her mother Robin Little, grandmother Pat Baker, brothers Billy, Jason and Daniel Barnes, step-sister Robyn Hawkins, step-brother Joe, god-sister Dani K, best friend Holly, as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father Danny Barnes, grandfathers John H. Baker and John Shiflett, cousin BJ, and aunt Cherrie Juren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Dani was known for her love of playing pool and riding motorcycles, even in a dress. She had a passion for horses, enjoyed participating in pool tournaments, and was not afraid to take a gamble. Her determination and resourcefulness were evident as she tried her hand at fixing anything and everything. Her career in Palacios, working on helicopters and airplanes, allowed her to share her love of flying with children and adults alike.

Dani’s generous spirit lives on through the donation of her organs, which have saved many lives. Donations in her memory are appreciated.

May she rest in peace, her legacy forever cherished in the hearts of those she touched.
