Shannon Sylvaine Sanchez was born September 26, 1970, in Greenville, Mississippi, to parents Sylvester and Linda Sanchez. He passed away at his home in Cleveland, Texas, on Sunday, March 17, 2024, at the age of 53.
Shannon is preceded in death by his sister, Dana Rena Sanchez and his son, Blake Sanchez. He is survived by his parents, Sylvester and Linda Sanchez, children, Joshua Sanchez, Kelcy Sanchez, Brody Steele and wife Ally, and Marion Mize; grandchildren, Joseph Kelsey, Karson Kelsey and Marlow Steele; sister, Chandra Sanchez; brother, Aaron “Jamie” Sanchez; girlfriend, Carla Rader; and godmother, Vera Sanchez “Aunt Nanny Pokey”
There will be a funeral service held on Monday, March 25, at 10:00 am, in the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Cleveland, Texas with Pastor Chester Holloway officiating. Burial will follow in Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens.
