Virginia “Ginger” Lee Garrett Taylor, 82, entered the gates of heaven on Thursday, May 9, 2024. She was born on September 6, 1941, in Houston, Texas. She loved being a grandmother, doing floral design, watching Gunsmoke, and to crochet.
Virginia was a faithful servant of our Lord. She adored her son, David, and loved her cat, Ms. Kitty. Virginia is preceded in death by her parents Neal and Ruby Garrett and husband, George Taylor. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving son, David Stewart, and his wife Sara; grandchildren Peyton, Juliet, and Taylor; and a host of loving family and treasured friends.
A graveside service of remembrance will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Buckhorn Cemetery in Bellville, Texas. Honoring Virginia as pallbearers are David Stewart, Dewayne Stewart, James Graham, and Eric Miller.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations towards funeral expenses.
