Whitley Breana “Brea” Treadway was born June 8, 1993, and passed away July 17, 2024, at the age of 31.
Brea loved animals. She never met an animal she didn’t love or a stray she didn’t try to save. One of her favorite things to do was to take care of horses that needed to be loved and she could frequently be seen surrounded by a few dogs and a cat or two!
She loved spending time with her two nephews, Lathan Jr. and Gunnarr. She stated many times that she wanted to be “the coolest Aunt ever!” She loved and cared for her Gran and Grandy. She admired her big brother, Lathan and her mom, Rilea was her best friend. She greatly missed her sister and best friend, Ashlyn.
Her favorite thing to do included being at the beach, cooking for her friends and family, personal Bible studies, and creating art.
She had found the love of her life, Patrick, and had been busy planning their dream wedding for October 19th but, her greatest love was for her Abba (God). She would proclaim many times, “I need to be with my Abba”. Today, she is with her Abba!
She is survived by her fiancé, Patrick St. Louis; mother, Rilea Wallace; father, Leslie Treadway; brother, Lathan Treadway; grandmother, Glenda Wallace, aunt, Tamara Mahaney and husband Michael; nephews, Lathan Jr. and Gunnarr Treadway; future mother-in-law, Patti St. Louis and family; cousins, Hunter Mahaney and wife Jessa, Kyler Mahaney, Mykal Blakeney and husband Zach, Madison Wallace, Wallace Mahaney, Charlie Mahaney, Magnolia Mahaney, and Sunday Mahaney.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Ashlyn Tilea Treadway; grandfather, Rev. Jerrol L. Wallace; and her uncle, Derrick Wallace and wife Jessica.
Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at Moss Hill United Pentecostal Church.
