The world lost a beloved mother, Corrine Wahle, on July 21, 2024. Born on August 13, 1942, Corrine’s unexpected passing is a testament to life’s unpredictability. Corrine was a fiercely independent person who played many roles in her lifetime, wife, mother, sister, daughter, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Corrine’s good humor and generous spirit touched everyone that she met.
Corrine was a devoted mother to Daniel Robert Wahle, Robin Lynn Baugh, Peggy Sue Earnhart, Jennifer LuAnn Vaughn, Thomas Arthur Wahle, and Nancy Joyce Byrd. Being the mother of triplets, she loved to tell people that she had six children and was only in the maternity ward three times. Corrine was a grandmother to 13 grandchildren and a great-grandmother to 6 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husband Robert Franklin Wahle, daughter Jennifer LuAnn Vaughn, and brother Ronald Dietz and is survived by brother Art Dietz and sister Sharon Dawson, who will never forget the love she brought into their lives.
Visitation will be held Saturday, July 27, at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Coldspring between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, July 28, at Coldspring United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery in Coldspring..
Corrine will be dearly missed by all that were blessed to have known her, but her spirit will continue to live on through us.
