Freedom Church breaks ground on new worship center in Liberty

Pastor John Cowart of Freedom Church and the Church's Board Chairman Marvin Cowart took part in a ceremonial groundbreaking on the site of the church's new worship center in Liberty.

Freedom Church marked a significant milestone with the groundbreaking of a brand-new worship center at 422 Highway 90 in Liberty, Texas, on June 30.

The event was led by Jason Cowart, the lead pastor of Freedom Church, alongside Marvin Cowart, chairman of the Board of Directors. This ceremony symbolizes the beginning of a new chapter for the church community.

The upcoming 7,500-square-foot worship center will soon serve as the spiritual home for the congregation, complementing the existing two-story building on the property.

Pastor Jason Cowart prays at the start of a groundbreaking for a new worship center for Freedom Church in Liberty.

Set to open its doors in October, this new 200-plus seat facility will become the permanent home for Freedom Church, offering a dedicated space for worship, community gatherings, and spiritual growth.

Currently, Freedom Church meets every Sunday at 9 and 11 a.m. at 1011 North Main in Liberty, Texas. Those seeking a church are encouraged to visit.

As the church anticipates the completion of their new worship center, the congregation looks forward to expanding its outreach and continuing to serve the community.

  1. This person had a trailer stolen recently. The description of said vehicle matches mine. I reached out to him for a screenshot of said vehicle. Said vehicle was spotted around the Liberty airport area. I live in Daisetta. I run that road 24/7. I asked him for a screenshot of his so called video. He told me that I didn’t need one, but the description matches my vehicle. Gave him my phone #. Address, pics of my truck! He said return my trailer. No harm, no foul! I didn’t take it. Why wouldn’t he send me screenshot? I’ve already had police following me around before I even saw this post! Somehow I’m a terrorist threat! He was reporting everything to PD! OK. I said I’ll see you in church! He responded with, “If you walk in my building it won’t end well ”
This is your Pastor for Freedom church! Why would he say such a thing being a supposedly Godly man. I am a Christian. I won’t go to this church because I see a hypocrite! Then he blocked me!
