Dayton ISD celebrates grandparents with game nights

Dayton ISD is excited to announce the upcoming “Games with Grandparents” night, scheduled for Sept. 5, 2024. This special event is being hosted by the district’s elementary schools, offering a fun-filled evening where students and their grandparents can bond over classic board games and enjoy quality time together.

Kimmie M. Brown and Stephen F. Austin Elementary will kick off their game nights from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at their respective campuses. Dr. E. R. Richter Elementary will also join in the fun, hosting their event from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Grandparents are encouraged to bring along their favorite board games to share the excitement with their grandchildren.

Colbert Elementary will hold a Grandparent’s Bingo Night on Sept. 10, 2024, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. This event is designed for PreK students and their grandparents to enjoy a lively game of Bingo together.

A special thank you goes out to the PTOs of all the elementary campuses for providing an ice cream bar at each of the Games with Grandparents events. This generous contribution will add an extra layer of sweetness to the evening.
