Hardin Independent School District (Hardin ISD) recently received information indicating that one of its employees is alleged to have engaged in inappropriate behavior with a student from another school district.
Upon learning of these allegations, Hardin ISD took action, suspending the employee in question pending the outcome of an investigation.
In a written statement, the District said it takes all accusations of inappropriate behavior very seriously.
“We have zero tolerance for inappropriate behavior and expect our teachers and staff to adhere to the highest standards of conduct,” the statement continues.
Due to the ongoing nature of the investigation, the district is unable to provide further details at this time. However, officials assured the community that Hardin ISD is committed to taking all necessary measures to ensure that its students are educated in a safe and nurturing environment.
