Angie Sue Harrell

Angie Sue Harrell, a beloved figure in her community and a cherished member of her family, entered the gates of Heaven on Aug. 27, 2024, at the age of 63. Born on Oct. 7, 1960, in Uvalde, Texas, Angie was a beacon of love and kindness that touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege to know her.

For 20 years, Angie devoted herself to countless families as the Director of Parent’s Day Out at the First Baptist Church in Cleveland, Texas. In this role, she not only nurtured children but also fostered a sense of community among parents, creating lasting bonds that extended far beyond the walls of the church. Angie’s unwavering faith and service to the Lord were evident in everything she did, and she had an innate ability to uplift those around her through her warm smile and gentle spirit.

Beyond her professional life, Angie had a passion for life that was contagious. Whether she was enjoying the peaceful serenity of the beach, taking leisurely drives in her golf cart, or embarking on camping adventures with her family, Angie embraced every moment to the fullest. Her heart overflowed with love for her family, especially her treasured grandchildren: Baylee Daniels, Mayson Daniels, Tinsley Hill, and Tripp Hill. They were not just her grandchildren; they were her joys, her little lights of hope, and the embodiment of her belief in the beauty of family.

Angie leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will forever be etched in the hearts of her loved ones. She is survived by her devoted husband of 39 years, William Andrew Harrell, and her loving daughters, Georgia Daniels and her husband Mark, and Andrea Hill and her husband Trent; her sisters, Evelyn Jo Free and her husband Dubb, and Judy Redumis; grandchildren, Baylee Daniels, Mayson Daniels, Tinsley Hill, and Tripp Hill; along with numerous other loving family members and a host of wonderful friends. Angie found enteral peace alongside her parents, James D. Dunn and Tinkey Dunn.

A memorial service to celebrate Angie’s life will be held on Sept. 6, 2024, at Neal Funeral Home in Cleveland, Texas, starting at 11:00 AM. As we gather to honor her memory, let us be reminded of the profound impact she had on so many and continue to carry her spirit of love, kindness, and faith in our own lives.
