This article is the second installment in the Bluebonnet News Business Briefs series, which highlights local businesses making an impact in the community. This week, the featured business is FullScope Pest Control.
FullScope Pest Control, a locally-owned business in Splendora, Texas, has been providing expert pest management services for the past six years. Serving parts of Liberty, Polk, and East Montgomery counties, the company is owned and operated by Camille Landry, an etymologist with a deep passion for insects and their behaviors.
Landry founded FullScope Pest Control with a mission to offer a better way to manage pests, one that prioritizes customer education and safety.

“We thought there was a better way to do pest control, so we are very customer-focused,” said Landry. “It’s very important that we educate our customers. We teach them about the pests and their life cycles, and really let them know exactly how and why we are servicing these particular pests in this particular way. It’s really worked for us and our customers.”
FullScope Pest Control, staffed by a team of 13 pest control professionals, takes pride in using targeted, sustainable methods to address common household and outdoor pests.
“We’re very passionate about our industry and we’re very concerned about the overuse of pesticides exposing people unnecessarily to chemicals when most everything we do can be very targeted with baits and other application methods,” she explained.
As the company’s name suggests, FullScope Pest Control covers a wide range of pests, from home invaders like roaches, fleas, and mice, to outdoor nuisances such as flies, mosquitoes, spiders, and rats. Their approach is rooted in integrated pest management, a strategy that goes beyond mere extermination.
“It’s an integrated pest management solution, so we might need to reduce some conducive conditions, like just removing leaf litter and a little bit too much mulch away from the home, or it could be moving that wood pile away from your structure. It’s kind of changing the environment that is drawing insects or harboring even rodents into your home. We want to teach you how to change those things so that we are working as a team to control the pests,” she said.
Through FullScope Pest Control, Landry is not only protecting homes and businesses but also empowering her customers with knowledge, all while keeping safety and sustainability at the forefront of her services.
In addition to her work at FullScope Pest Control, Landry shares her expertise with the community by writing a monthly column about pest control for Bluebonnet News.
Recently, FullScope Pest Control was recognized as the Best Pest Control in a contest hosted by the Houston Chronicle. To learn more about FullScope Pest Control, click the link below.
