City of Cleveland launches rebranding initiative, seeks community input

The City of Cleveland is excited to announce the launch of a new rebranding initiative aimed at revitalizing its identity as the community continues to grow and evolve.

This effort comes at a pivotal time in Cleveland’s development, offering a unique opportunity to redefine the city’s image and prepare for future expansion.

The rebranding initiative is designed to emphasize the qualities that make Cleveland a special place for residents, businesses, and visitors alike. By establishing a refreshed identity, the City hopes to create a strong foundation for continued success, innovation, and relevance.

City officials are inviting community members to participate in the rebranding process. Input from residents, local businesses, and visitors is considered vital to ensuring the initiative reflects the true spirit of Cleveland.

To share your thoughts and ideas, you can participate in a survey online at this link, or pick up a paper survey at several locations around town, including City Hall (907 E. Houston), Austin Memorial Library (220 S. Bonham), and the Civic Center (210 Peach St.).

The City of Cleveland values the input of its community members and looks forward to partnering with them in shaping the city’s future through this rebranding effort.

  1. Livingston and Liberty are what Cleveland should aspire to. Sprawling parks, more career potential, better traffic control, street lights that actually work, lower taxes, uncrowded schools with a lower student to teacher ratio, and lower crime.

Cleveland’s just on a downward spiral like Dayton in terms of city planning, traffic, and “downtown” is just a slum for the homeless and vagrants. You don’t want to be out there at night, unless you’re visiting one of our many 24 hour vape shops. Even if you are out past 10pm on Houston or Washington Street, you’ll get pulled over by the city police that only patrol these two streets looking for license-less drivers, so don’t even get out.

As for other towns, two thirds of Conroe are fine and date I say upscale, but the east side and Cut and Shoot feel like Cleveland and Dayton. The addition of the QT and Fat Floyd’s new location are nice but it feels like we haven’t gotten much since. What about that Denny’s that was supposed to be built next to the Whataburger last year?

For the city’s purposes, what about expanding the for profit sports complex known as Cleveland Municipal Park, as it’s called to a proper dusk to dawn facility with proper walking trails? Conroes Carl Barton Jr park is a good example as it has the sports fields but also trails around a park, similar to Livingstons Pedigo Park. If you can’t do something that grand, look at Livingstona Matthews Street Park. Libertys park speaks for itself. Old City Park has seen its better days and Campbell doesn’t have a real walking trail either, nor does it feel safe.

  2. Um Mexico II, Compton II, Chiraq Jr. Any of the previous will work. Instead of rebranding how about try cleaning house. Yet again another shooting in Cleveland on here.

  3. Step 1… remove uncivilized criminal invaders that have over run the area.

Step 2… let revitalization occur naturally.

Otherwise you are just polishing a turd.

  4. Would be nice to put more trash can out in the City so people could throw there trash in it. Put up a sign in Cleveland that say keep Cleveland Tx Clean. This town is trashy with people littering the City. I heard a visitor that came to Cleveland Tx and said this was one of the trashiest City.
