Roy Pearce was born June 11, 1931, in Center, Texas, to parents, Ben Lloyd Pearce and Ila Mae Agnew Pearce. He passed away in The Woodlands, Texas on Oct. 14, 2024, at the age of 93. Roy was an accountant for Cravens and Dargen Insurance Company for many years.
He owned Pizza Etc. in Cleveland, Texas. In his younger years he loved the fond memories of camping with his family.
Roy loved traveling and gardening, and was a member of the River Pointe Baptist Church in Conroe, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben Lloyd and Ila Mae Pearce; first wife, Nettie Pearce; second wife, Sherry Pearce; granddaughters, Kristal Pearce and Lydia Ruby Pearce. Roy his survived by his sons, Glen Pearce and wife Jerrye, Ivan Pearce and wife Cherryl, Keith Wayne Pearce and wife Karen, Rex Pearce and wife Suzanne; grandchildren, Bradley, Sabrina, Steven, Chandra Kay, D’Andra La’Nee, LeAndra, Alex, Eden,Ethan, Abby; 28 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, Oct. 18, 2024, from 2-3 p.m. in the Pace-Stancil Chapel. Funeral Service will begin at 3 p.m. with Bro. Heath Powers officiating. Burial will follow in Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service will be, Bradley Pearce, Steven Pearce, Ethan Pearce, Chad Schaffer, Tad Traylor, Zachery Pearce, Matt Davis, Adam Jackson, Zachary Nix. Honorary Pallbearer will be Alex Pearce.
