Area churches are invited to be part of GO TELL Southeast Texas, a community-wide evangelistic crusade that will be held at the Liberty High School Stadium the evenings of Apr. 13-16, 2025.
Pastors and church leaders will learn about the event and how they can become a participating church by attending one of two GO TELL SETX Information Seminars on Thursday, Nov. 21. The morning seminar will be 10:30 a.m. to noon at First Baptist Church Dayton, 202 E. Houston St.; the evening seminar will be 6:30-8:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church Liberty, 602 Main St., Liberty.
“Rick Gage and GO TELL Crusades focus on doing ‘Billy Graham’ type events in smaller communities like ours,” said David Williams, director of missions for Trinity River Baptist Association. “We anticipate having 1,000 or more attend each evening and are praying for hundreds of decisions for Christ during the week.”
Williams said this is not just a Baptist event, but one that seeks to involve all Christian churches in the area.
“We are praying that 100 churches will choose to be participating churches and work alongside one another to see souls saved and lives changed throughout our entire area,” he said.
Everyone will be welcome to attend the four-evening event and to bring friends with them to hear the gospel, Williams said, but the greatest impact will be upon participating churches that will be involved in praying for and promoting the event, supporting the event with volunteers and finances, joining in outreach activities, and having members trained to do counseling and follow-up with those who make decisions.
