Liberty Police Department has issued an arrest warrant in the shooting death of Christopher Lynn Pilgreen, 37, of Hull, who was found dead outside Outlaw Jacks bar, located at 3216 Beaumont Ave. in Liberty, late Thursday night.
Police responded to a 911 call about a possible shooting just before midnight on Thursday, Dec. 12. Upon arrival, officers discovered Pilgreen lying face down on the concrete outside the bar. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
In the early stages of the investigation, Liberty PD released a photo of two persons of interest in the case, asking for the public’s help in identifying them. Just before midnight on Friday, Dec. 13, the case reportedly reached a breakthrough with the arrest warrant for the suspects.
An arrest warrant for Christopher Jamal Wickliff was issued for Murder, a 1st-degree felony, by the Honorable Judge Chap Cain out of the 253rd District Court. Additionally, an arrest warrant for Crystal Nicole Salinas was issued for Failure to Report a Felony.
Liberty Police Department expressed gratitude to the public for the tips provided during the investigation, as well as to the Liberty County District Attorney’s Office, the Dayton Police Department, the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office, the media, and the Texas Department of Public Safety for their assistance.

Good job for the man/women in blue that caught at least the man. Public: if you see or know something say something. These horrible crimes have to stop.

Ignorant is knowing he’s a cold blooded killer, he should have not exposed himself in public. That’s a crime as well. Not to mention he’s pulled his gun more than once and walked away from it. He’s going to hell 😔
