The Greater Cleveland Chamber of Commerce (GCC) is gearing up for its Annual Awards Banquet, presented by Frontier Waste Solutions, on Friday, Jan. 31. This event celebrates the achievements of businesses and individuals in the community and marks a significant milestone—90 years of Cleveland’s history in 2025.
As the GCC’s largest fundraiser of the year, the banquet promises an evening full of activities, entertainment, and recognition. Sponsorships are available at multiple levels, including the opportunity to donate mystery gift prizes. These sponsorships not only support the event but also highlight local businesses in a fun and engaging way.
Guests can look forward to a variety of exciting features, including:
- A special 90th Anniversary exhibit presented by the Cleveland Historical Museum.
- Purchase chances for $20 each and play two rounds for a chance to win amazing prizes.

One of the most popular features of the banquet is the Mystery Gift Boxes, which will go on sale at 6 p.m. Guests can purchase boxes for $50 each, containing luxury items valued between $50 and $500 or more. Past gifts have included Apple Watches, iPads, robot vacuums, and high-value gift cards. Businesses can contribute by donating luxury items or gift cards valued at $50 or more, or by sponsoring gifts with a monetary contribution.
To donate, simply bring items to the GCC office or provide funds for the team to shop on your behalf. Each gift will feature the donor’s business card, making it a great advertising opportunity.
